The following tasks should be completed once a week:
Above-ground pools tend to have issues with water circulation, allowing algae to breed. This is typically more prevalent in dead spots of the pool, including around the steps, under the skimmer, behind ladders, and in any cracks, crevices, or creases. Improve circulation by installing multi-directional return jets. Keep a pool brush nearby to manually circulate the water as well.
Warn guests not to sit on the edges or top rail of your above-ground pool, as it can cause damage and crack or crease the sides. Refrain from allowing children to throw objects or ride bikes around the pool as they could end up hitting the walls.
