Learning to swim is an essential life skill that should be learned by both children and adults. Almost two million people of all ages learn to swim using the Red Cross Program each year. Download the American Red Cross swim app as a companion to swim lessons. There are plenty of ways teach your kids about water safety while letting them have fun during the learning process. This Water Safety coloring and activity bookย is a great way for children to learn about staying safe in the water.
You can also encourage your child toย take the Safe Swimmers Pledge, which comes with a certificate that they can sign and hang up to remind them of their commitment to staying safe in and around the water.
